Job summary

Gingerbread Family Support in Stoke-on-Trent is recruiting a Community & Challenge Events Fundraiser to support the Income Generation team, raise awareness, and develop fundraising opportunities across local communities.

The role involves engaging community fundraisers, schools and groups, managing supporters from enquiry to donation, and delivering events and campaigns to hit income targets. Hybrid working at Rothesay Court, Longton.

Qualifications

• Experience in raising funds and engaging local communities.
• Ability to identify opportunities with schools and community groups.
• A track record of delivering successful fundraising events.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop opportunities to engage community fundraisers, individuals, schools, community groups and challenge event participants.
• Maximise participation and income from challenge and fundraising events.
• Manage supporters from initial enquiry through to fundraising, participation and ongoing stewardship.
