Job summary

Strathcarron Hospice in Scotland is seeking a temporary Event and Challenge Fundraising Assistant to support a varied programme of fundraising events, from traditional in-person to overseas and virtual challenges. You will work with colleagues to co-ordinate events from registration to post-event.

The role requires excellent communication, a can-do attitude, and a commitment to the charity’s values. Some weekend work may be required to support hospice events.

Qualifications

• Ability to support a varied and evolving range of projects.
• Can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Commitment to the charity’s ethics, values, and team mentality.
• Experience in digital/online fundraising.

Responsibilities

• Support a programme of in-person and virtual events.
• Work with Fundraising Manager to manage event logistics.
• Maintaining relationships with third-party providers and suppliers.
• Ensure a high level of stewardship for event attendees/participants, supporters, sponsors and donors.
• Recording event and supporter data.
• A positive approach to overall fundraising.
