Job summary

Incommunities in Bradford is seeking an Intensive Tenancy Wellbeing Coach on a permanent basis to manage a complex caseload of tenants with diverse care and support needs, aiming to sustain tenancies and enhance wellbeing.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop outcome-focused support plans with tenants, identify specialist services, monitor progress, and collaborate with local authorities and health systems. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Strong awareness of barriers faced by vulnerable individuals in securing housing and sustaining a tenancy.
• Proven tenancy and estate management experience with knowledge of standards and enforcement procedures.
• Extensive experience managing customers with multiple and complex needs, including challenging behaviours, with a focus on positive outcomes.
• Ability to negotiate and influence service provision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with diverse groups.
• Capacity to prioritise workload and manage active cases in crises.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
• Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available).
• An Enhanced DBS check is required as part of pre-employment.

Responsibilities

• Intensively manage a caseload of tenants with multiple care and support needs to sustain tenancies and improve wellbeing.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments for current and prospective tenants and develop outcome-focused tenancy intervention plans.
• Identify and link tenants with specialist services to address unmet needs and ensure engagement with resources.
• Monitor engagement with support services and safeguard vulnerable tenants.
• Collaborate with local authorities, social care and health systems to secure appropriate support and advocate for improvements.
• Provide oversight of tenancy management throughout the support intervention period.
• Periodically review intensively managed tenancies with tenants and providers to assess readiness for transition to general tenancy management.
• Work with Neighbourhood Housing Officers to manage communities with intensified tenancies.
