Job summary

Johnson Matthey is seeking an EHS Advisor in Enfield to join our team. You will provide practical EHS guidance to operational teams and help deliver the site EHS plan while driving continuous improvement in safety performance.

Role requires NEBOSH certification with progress toward a Diploma, and experience in an industrial setting. Hybrid working is available, with life, medical and other benefits offered to staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial, engineering or process-manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lead or support investigations and audits.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical EHS advice, coaching and support to operational teams.
• Support delivery of the site EHS plan and continuous improvement programmes.
• Lead or support incident investigations, audits, inspections and behavioural safety activities.
• Assist with emergency planning arrangements and COMAH compliance.
• Develop and promote Safe Systems of Work, including permit-to-work and high-risk activity controls.
• Deliver EHS training and collaborate with leaders, contractors and employees to strengthen safety culture.
