Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Project EHS Advisor to provide expert environmental, health and safety guidance to project management teams across the UK&I region. You will support implementation of the EHS management system, help drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

You will lead risk assessments, deliver EHS data to clients and leaders, investigate incidents, and maintain relationships with contractors and stakeholders to foster a proactive safety

Qualifications

• Member of IOSH, certified level at minimum (CMIOSH preferred).
• CSCS MAP card holder.
• Full driving license required.
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate with 3–5 years EHS experience on large and complex construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert EHS advice to project management teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with legislation.
• Support implementation of the EHS management system and best practices across projects and regional remit.
• Lead risk assessments and assist in controls to prevent incidents.
• Identify gaps and drive corrective actions and continuous improvements.
• Draft, maintain and communicate EHS plans and obligations to clients, managers, supervisors and contractors.
• Promote a positive EHS culture on projects and monitor compliance with legal standards.
