Job summary

Johnson Matthey is seeking an EHS Advisor to provide practical health and safety guidance, coaching and support to operational teams across the site. You will help deliver the EHS plan, lead incident investigations and support COMAH compliance, while promoting safe systems of work and high-risk controls.

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH Certificate with progress towards a Diploma or equivalent health and safety qualification.
  • Experience in an industrial, engineering or process-manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, COMAH, COSHH and environmental permitting requirements.
  • Qualified auditor with experience supporting management system compliance and continual improvement.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to a range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and influence positive EHS behaviours at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver EHS training and collaborate with leaders, contractors and employees to strengthen safety culture.

The role:
