Job summary

Headway Birmingham & Solihull is seeking a dynamic Communications & Fundraising Manager to lead income generation and raise the profile of vital services across Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry and Warwickshire.

You will develop fundraising plans, identify grants and sponsorships, and oversee marketing, communications and media campaigns to inspire supporters and donors. You will also recruit and supervise fundraising volunteers and coordinate events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fundraising and income generation for a charity.
• Strong communications, copywriting and digital marketing skills.
• Ability to lead volunteers and coordinate events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver fundraising plans to meet income targets.
• Identify and secure grants, trusts, corporate sponsorships and community fundraising opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with donors, local businesses, schools, community groups and supporters.
• Organise and deliver fundraising events and campaigns.
• Lead and oversee the charity's communications, social media, publicity and marketing activities.
• Produce engaging content for newsletters, websites, promotional materials and media.
• Recruit, support and supervise fundraising volunteers.
