Job summary

Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Evidence and Impact Manager to lead the development of our Outcomes Framework and deliver robust evidence across nature, communities and enterprise.

You will manage data collection, evaluation and reporting, translating complex information for diverse audiences and supporting programme development and external communications.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience leading corporate performance monitoring and reporting in environmental field.
• Proven experience using GIS for dataset analysis and spatial information presentation.
• Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research and information presentation techniques.
• Understanding of the benefits of tree planting and habitat creation for nature, communities and enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continually improve the Outcomes Framework to evidence progress towards Transformation through Forests.
• Establish meaningful metrics, data collection, evaluation and reporting processes.
• Lead a small team to deliver robust evidence and insights for decision-making and external messaging.
• Oversee reporting for the Defra England Tree Planting Programme.
• Line manage Grants Officer administering £2m of grants for forest creation and woodland management.
