Health Care Support Worker Immunisation Team with Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board will join a dynamic immunisation team delivering nasal flu and school vaccines across multiple community settings. The role involves visiting schools, travelling between sites in Wrexham and Flintshire, and supporting public health immunisation aims.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 NVQ/QCF (a health care associated certificate)
• Introduction to Immunisation Training Course for HCSW (or be prepared to undertake)
• Basic Life Support training or work towards
• Anaphylaxis training or work towards
• Understand the lines of accountability and have insight into limitations of this role
• Numeracy and literacy skills
• Evidence of continuing personal development relevant to the role in health care
• Knowledge of the Immunisation public health agenda

Responsabilités

• To work as a team member to visit schools and other community settings to deliver immunisations to school aged children
• Traveling between sites across Wrexham and Flintshire
• Deliver immunisations including nasal flu programme and school health vaccinations (HPV, DTP, Men ACWY, MMR)
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to support immunisation delivery
