Job summary

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust’s Immunisation Service seeks a part-time Immunisation Programme Assistant (Chichester) to support vaccination clinics in schools and community settings. The role is 3 days per week, 42 weeks per year, with core hours 8am-4pm and Saturday morning clinics in school terms.

A full UK driving licence and use of a car are essential. Based in Chichester, you will travel to clinics across Sussex and provide clerical and clinical support under supervision.

Qualifications

• Essential to have a full UK driving licence.
• Provide clerical and clinical support across schools, bases, clinics and patients' homes.
• Be able to cover vaccination sessions and clinics on a rota basis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents and assist the running of vaccination sessions.
• Accurately process session paperwork.
• Support nurses and administrators as part of the vaccination programme team.
• May contribute to flu nasal spray vaccination under supervision.
