Job summary

Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust is seeking Community Immunisation Nurses to deliver county-wide vaccination programmes in schools and community settings. You will work both independently and in team-based clinics, promoting immunisation and managing vaccination records with attention to safety and quality.

Successful candidates will have NMC registration, post-registration development, and may require driving across the region.

Qualifications

• Evidence of post registration continuing professional development.
• Current Registration with NMC.
• Mentorship or qualification teaching qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of vaccinations independently and in teams.
• Work in schools and community clinics.
• Review missed vaccinations and histories.
• Travel across the area; hold a full driving license and access to a car.
• Promote safe, effective immunisation practice.
