Job summary

CPC Consulting is recruiting for a School Caretaker to support Mitcham's educational site in London. The role includes keeping the site secure, clean and well‑presented for students and staff, with responsibilities for opening/closing areas, reporting defects and coordinating with contractors.

You must hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to obtain checks. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a temporary contract and immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caretaking, maintenance, facilities or building services environments.
• Good practical skills with a proactive attitude and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day upkeep of school buildings and grounds to keep the site safe, clean and operational.
• Carry out routine inspections and minor maintenance tasks; support room and event set-ups.
