Job summary

Academics are looking for a Pastoral Support Assistant to join a mainstream school in Stone. You will provide pastoral support to remove barriers to learning, promote pupils' personal development, confidence, resilience and independence, and help improve attendance, engagement and behaviour.

The role is to start immediately until the end of the academic year. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is preferred; classroom or youth-work experience is helpful, and safeguarding knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to arrange).
• Classroom or youth-work experience is helpful; calm communication and a willingness to learn are essential.
• Sound safeguarding knowledge and the judgement to put it into practice.
• Can commit to a full-time role

Responsibilities
