Job summary

4Site Recruitment is seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator for an immediate start on a project in Gravesend (DA12 2BD). You will perform internal and external painting, surface preparation, and aim for a high-quality finish on a professional site.

Candidates must have a valid CSCS card, own decorating tools, and proven experience. The role runs 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday, with ongoing temporary work and the potential for regular longer assignments.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card is mandatory.
• Own decorating tools and equipment.
• Previous painting and decorating experience.
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality finish.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Internal and external painting and decorating.
• Surface preparation including filling, sanding, priming.
• Applying emulsion, gloss, satin, and other finishes.
• Snagging and making good.
• Finishing works to a high standard.
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy.
