Job summary

4Site Recruitment is seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator for an immediate start on a site in Chatham (ME4 4RY). The role covers interior and exterior painting with surface prep, finishing and snagging to a high standard. A CSCS card is mandatory and applicants must bring their own decorating tools.

Ongoing temporary work with reliable, independent workers encouraged to apply. Typical hours are 07:30–16:00 with 8 paid hours per day. Pay is £21.00 per hour (CIS).

Qualifications

• CSCS card is mandatory.
• Own decorating tools and equipment.
• Previous painting and decorating experience.
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality finish.
• Reliable and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Internal and external painting and decorating on site.
• Surface preparation including filling, sanding and priming.
• Apply emulsion, gloss, satin and other finishes.
• Snagging and making good to a high standard.
• Keep work areas clean and tidy throughout.
