Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join a Buckinghamshire secondary school for immediate start. The role focuses on sickness cover, teaching French and Spanish across the secondary age range for 32 hours per week (Monday to Thursday).

The ideal candidate will hold QTS and have substantial secondary teaching experience, with the ability to deliver Spanish up to A‑Level and GCSE French/Spanish content.

Qualifications

• QTS – essential.
• Substantial experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
• Ability to teach both French and Spanish, including Spanish up to A‑Level.
• Experience delivering GCSE French and GCSE Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Teach French and Spanish across the secondary age range.
• Deliver Spanish up to A‑Level.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the school curriculum.
• Differentiate lessons to cater for varying abilities and learning needs.
• Assess pupil progress and provide feedback for exams.
