Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking an experienced MFL Teacher for an immediate start in Buckingham, Buckinghamshire. The role is a temporary ongoing sickness cover, Monday to Thursday, 32 hours per week, teaching French and Spanish across the secondary curriculum.

You will provide continuity for pupils during absence, deliver engaging lessons, and prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, while maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning progress.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Substantial experience teaching in a secondary school.
• Ability to teach French and Spanish across the secondary curriculum.
• Experience teaching Spanish up to GCSE/A-Level.
• Ability to plan engaging and differentiated language lessons.

Responsibilities

• Teach French and Spanish across the secondary age range.
• Deliver GCSE and A-Level Spanish content where required.
• Plan and deliver engaging speaking, listening, reading and writing activities.
• Follow the school’s curriculum and schemes of work.
• Differentiate lessons to meet pupils’ learning needs.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress and provide feedback.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Support safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
