Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a qualified French Teacher with QTS to join a secondary school in Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, for an immediate start. The role covers French across the secondary age range, with Spanish up to A-Level when needed, on a temporary ongoing sickness cover basis.

You will teach 32 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, and support pupils across KS3/GCSE with engaging, well-planned lessons and ongoing assessment for formal exams.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Substantial secondary school teaching experience.
• Ability to teach French across KS3/GCSE and Spanish up to A-Level.

Responsibilities

• Teach French across the secondary age range.
• Deliver engaging French lessons and GCSE/A-Level Spanish as required.
• Plan differentiated language lessons and monitor pupil progress.
• Assess and provide feedback for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
