TeacherActive is partnering with a Liverpool-based secondary school to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Assistant. You will work alongside teachers to support learners across KS3 and KS4, helping students access learning, manage classroom behaviour, and stay engaged in lessons.

You’ll join a supportive, inclusive environment with ongoing CPD opportunities, competitive PAYE rates, and a referral scheme for colleagues. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in a secondary school or educational setting.
• Experience supporting students with additional learning needs is desirable.
• Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teaching staff.
• A patient, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to supporting young people.

• Provide classroom support and assist students with their learning.
