Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. in Southport is seeking a First Aid Trained Administrator to join a secondary school for an immediate four-week assignment. You will provide basic first aid, administer medication, and support students' welfare alongside general administrative duties.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:15am–3:10pm, with DBS and reliability emphasized. Immediate start and a four-week temporary contract are required, and experience working with children is essential.

Qualifications

• First Aid trained with current qualification.
• Experience administering medication.
• Experience working with children or young people.
• Calm, caring and confident when dealing with students.
• Reliable, organized and able to work independently.
• Fully available for the full four-week assignment.
• Available to start immediately.
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid to students throughout the school day.
• Respond appropriately to minor injuries, illness and student medical needs.
• Administer prescribed medication in accordance with school policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of medication administered and first aid treatment.
• Support students with ongoing medical needs.
• Communicate with parents/carers regarding student medical needs when required.
• Ensure first aid supplies and medical equipment are appropriately maintained.
• Deal calmly and confidently with students who are unwell or injured.
• Provide some general administrative support relating to student welfare and medical records.
