Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. Southport-based school is seeking a dedicated First Aid Administrator to support students' welfare by providing basic first aid, managing minor injuries, and administering medication in line with school policies.

The role is a full-time, four-week temporary assignment, Monday to Friday, with start date immediate. You will maintain accurate medical records, liaise with parents, and ensure essential first aid supplies and equipment are properly stocked, while

Qualifications

• First Aid trained with a current and relevant qualification.
• Experience administering prescribed medication.
• Experience working with children or young people.
• Calm, caring and confident when dealing with students.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
• Fully available for the full four-week assignment.
• Available to start immediately.
• Must hold Enhanced Child Workforce DBS.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid to students throughout the school day.
• Respond to minor injuries, illness and student medical needs.
• Administer prescribed medication in accordance with school policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of medication administered and first aid treatment.
• Support students with ongoing medical needs.
• Communicate with parents/carers regarding student medical needs when required.
• Ensure first aid supplies and medical equipment are appropriately maintained.
• Deal calmly and confidently with students who are unwell or injured.
• Provide some general administrative support relating to student welfare and medical records.
