Job summary

Monarch Education is recruiting a confident and reliable Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support a school in Burnham-on-Sea on a supply basis with an ASAP start. You will assist teaching staff, deliver planned activities, support pupil progress and help manage classrooms.

The role requires HLTA status or equivalent experience, and a commitment to safeguarding. This supply position offers flexible hours and the chance to gain varied school-based experience in the local area.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or equivalent experience is desirable
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply
• Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across the school
• Deliver pre-planned lessons or interventions as required
• Provide one-to-one and small group pupil support
• Help maintain a calm, well-managed classroom
