Job summary

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking enthusiastic Imaging Support Workers to join the ISW team in two part-time patterns. The role supports imaging services across the Early Pregnancy Centre and MRI service, welcoming patients and helping them feel cared for during visits.

This entry-level Band 2 position offers a development pathway to Band 3 following competency completion, with opportunities to work alongside radiographers, nurses and imaging staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and support patients before, during and after their examination or procedure.

• Help coordinate patient flow within the department to ensure services run smoothly and efficiently.
• Support reception, administrative and portering activities as required.
• Work closely with radiographers, radiologists, nurses and other colleagues to deliver an excellent patient experience.

We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and motivated individuals to join our Imaging Support Worker (ISW) team. We have 2 part-time opportunities available: 1) Part time, 10 hours per week - Saturdays and Sundays - based in the Cotswold Building supporting the Early Pregnancy Centre / Sonography service (EPC) 2) Part time, 21 hours per week - Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays 17.00-21.30 (4.5hrs per day) & Saturdays 8-4 (7.5hrs) - based in the Brunel Building supporting the MRI service Please ensure you can complete either of these shift patterns prior to applying. As an Imaging Support Worker, you will play an important role in helping patients feel welcomed, supported and cared for throughout their visit. Working alongside our multidisciplinary imaging teams, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality services within imaging. This is an entry-level Band 2 position with a supported development pathway to Band 3 following successful completion of the required competencies.
