Job summary

Fortius Clinic is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead Radiographer to join the Imaging leadership team. You will provide clinical and operational leadership, support service development, and ensure the highest standards of patient care, quality, governance and radiation protection across imaging sites.

You will lead across imaging services, maintain imaging protocols with Radiologists, drive audits and quality improvements, and manage staffing, capacity and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Diagnostic Radiographer with current registration.
• Significant post-registration imaging experience.
• Leadership or senior radiographer experience.
• Strong knowledge of clinical governance and radiation protection standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership across all imaging services.
• Maintain and develop imaging protocols with Radiologists.
• Ensure image quality, patient safety and experience.
• Support staffing, rotas and service delivery.
• Lead audits, investigations and quality improvements.
• Ensure compliance with governance and radiation protection.
• Represent Imaging at governance meetings.
• Promote staff development and wellbeing.
• Drive service improvement and efficient patient pathways.
