University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Imaging Department Assistant to support clerical, technical and caring duties in a busy Radiology team across three sites: Queens Hospital Burton, Samuel Johnson Lichfield and Sir Robert Peel Tamworth. You will participate in a rota covering 6.00 a.m.

to 10 p.m. seven days a week, averaging over 37.5 hours for full timers, with responsibilities including patient care, room preparation, infection control and stock

Qualifikationen

• Assistance with patient care, hoisting, moving and administration within Imaging.
• Support imaging procedures: room prep, contrast media prep, chaperoning, patient care.
• Adhere to Health & Safety, Ionising Radiation and COSHH policies.

Aufgaben

• Assist with patient care, hoisting, changing, moving and administration of patients within Imaging.
• Assist in imaging procedures: room preparation, contrast media preparation, chaperoning, patient care.
• Support infection control measures in Imaging Department and assist with room cleaning.
• QA and cleaning of equipment, and stock control within the area.
• Assist in training new non-radiographic staff.
• Ensure accurate records in radiology and hospital information systems.
