We are looking for a Imaging Department Assistant to join our Imaging Department team. The primary role is to support the clinical work of the Imaging Department by undertaking a variety of patient care related duties including, co-ordination of Ultrasound sessions and assisting the Radiologists in the smooth running of the sessions, assisting the Radiographers in the Fluoroscopy and Cross-Sectional (CT & MRI) departments and assisting both the Radiologists and Radiographers in all areas with minor procedures and cannulation.
In addition, the post holder will be expected to support the administrative work of the department by undertaking routine clerical tasks intrinsic to the efficient delivery of the service.
Because of the complex and evolving nature of the Imaging Department this post will involve a varied shift pattern working in partnership with other RDAs to ensure appropriate Clinical Support is given to a variety of specialised Imaging clinics.
