Job summary

Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Imaging Booking Coordinator to join the Imaging Administration & Clerical team. The role involves booking new and follow‑up appointments across CT, MRI, DEXA, Ultrasound and X-ray, coordinating lists, and handling amendments and cancellations with care and accuracy.

You will deliver a professional front‑of‑house service, supporting patients through their imaging pathway and liaising with health centres, GPs, outpatient clinics

Qualifications

• 3 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including Maths or English.
• NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• Experience with inputting data on computerized systems and handling administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Be confident and compassionate when dealing with patients and referrers, in person and on the phone.
• Provide a friendly, approachable and professional front‑of‑house reception.
• Book and manage new and follow‑up imaging appointments, liaising with clinical teams.
• Support booking protocols and pathway changes, and participate in training.
