Job summary

TimePlan Education in Ilford is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work in a SEND education setting, supporting pupils aged 5–18 with varied needs including PMLD and complex needs. The role is full-time, based at the school in Havering, with school hours 8:30am to 3:45pm.

The position involves 1:1 learning and care support, requires basic experience with SEN, and a DBS registered with the online update service (or willingness to apply).

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young adults with learning difficulties or disabilities.
• Willingness to complete DBS checks and safeguarding declarations.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis with learning development and care needs.
• Assist with personal care as required and follow school routines.
• Engage with pupils to promote inclusion and safe learning.
