Job summary

Pertemps North Midlands is seeking a Production Operative to join its client in Appleby Magna on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis. This role involves assembling ignition lead sets to a precise standard, with Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, and pay of £12.71 per hour.

The successful candidate will take ownership of their workmanship, ensure high quality and speed, and receive full training on the assembly process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembly or warehouse environments.
• Good attention to detail and a focus on quality.
• Ability to follow written instructions and production specifications.
• Good hand-eye coordination and practical skills.
• Willingness to learn and work at a steady pace.

Responsibilities

• Assemble ignition lead sets in line with production specifications.
• Maintain required speed and quality; take responsibility for your own work.
• Meet production output targets and inspect finished sets.
• Learn and master various ignition lead set assemblies and order sheets.
• Gather correct components and box completed sets to a high standard.
