Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK in Maidenhead seeks a technically strong Financial Accountant to join the Group Financial Accounting team. You will work on IFRS reporting, statutory accounts under FRS 101/102, and support audits with senior stakeholders in a listed international group.

The role offers exposure to major reporting, compliance and technical accounting projects, with opportunities to partner across Tax, Treasury and FP&A in a dynamic finance function.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with IFRS and UK statutory accounting knowledge.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts under FRS 101/102.
• Experience working with auditors and managing year-end processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, budget and forecast reporting under IFRS using Tagetik.
• Maintain and reconcile corporate ledgers and support month-end processes.
• Prepare statutory accounts under FRS 101/102 and coordinate audits.
• Support policy, controls and cross-functional reporting with senior stakeholders.
