A leading company in Swindon is seeking a motivated individual for the IFA Administrator/Trainee Paraplanner role to assist financial advisers. This full-time position involves preparing financial reports, liaising with clients, and ensuring compliance. To support our continued growth, we are looking to bring on board and support a motivated individual to join us as part of our team as an IFA Administrator/Trainee Paraplanner to work alongside our experienced team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
·Working closely alongside Financial Advisers, Paraplanners and administrators, assisting with research & analysis of financial products to meet client's requirements to support adviser recommendations.
·Compiling valuations and financial planning reports.
·Assisting with IFA admin-related tasks.
·Preparing meeting packs for the advisers.
·New business processing, submitting applications and following through to completion.
·Setting up prospective clients on the client portal.
·Keeping our internal back-office system up to date.
·Using various provider platforms each day.
·Liaising with providers, head office and client enquiries via various means of communication.
·Ensuring administration and compliance are completed to a high standard, ensuring compliance is adhered to.
Key Attributes to be successful within the role:
·Previous experience in financial planning, ideally as an IFA Administrator, although similar experience is welcomed.
·Great attention to detail.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Word and Excel.
·Ideally, be working toward Level 4 diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or have the desire to start this qualification journey.
This role is full-time, based in our office in Swindon, and working hours are 08:30 to 16:30 Monday to Friday.
