Job summary

Kingfisher is seeking a Platform Engineer within Identity Governance & Administration to evolve identity services, automate provisioning, and support platform modernisation across sites. The role includes engineering improvements and maintaining MIM, with collaboration across platform, security, and supplier teams.

Based at the Kingfisher Head Office in Paddington or the B&Q Head Office near Southampton, the role requires an average of 12 days in the office per month and travel between sites as

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Identity Governance platforms and services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering improvements, upgrades, migrations and technical refresh activities aligned to the Identity Governance roadmap.
• Engineer and support identity lifecycle, provisioning, access governance and automation capabilities across the identity estate.
• Develop, maintain and enhance Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) and associated identity integrations.
• Support the modernisation of identity services and the transition to Kingfisher's future Identity Governance platform.
• Create reusable automation, APIs, connectors, workflows and integrations that improve efficiency, scalability and consistency.
• Apply robust engineering practices across development, testing, source control, documentation and release management while reducing technical debt through standardisation and automation.
• Collaborate with platform, security, directory engineering, supplier and application teams to deliver secure, resilient and supportable identity services, while helping resolve complex technical issues through root-cause analysis.
