Pleo is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Authentication and Authorization (IAM) team. You will own the strategy, roadmap and delivery for identity across SMB and Enterprise, guiding modern secure authentication solutions and migration efforts.

Qualifications

• Proven Engineering Manager with meaningful people leadership impact.
• Deep hands-on experience in authentication/authorization domains (OAuth, SAML, OIDC).
• Track record guiding teams through migrations and legacy constraints.
• Strong stakeholder management across engineering, product and risk-focused partners.
• Bias for action; able to lead through ambiguity and maintain momentum.

Responsibilities

• Own vision, strategy and roadmap for identity across SMB and Enterprise.
• Drive delivery for the Authentication & Authorisation team, building secure, scalable systems.
• Roll out a new identity platform across our Enterprise offerings.
• Define a pragmatic migration between the SMB legacy service and the Enterprise architecture.
• Update legacy auth services, reduce risk and debt while ensuring security.
• Collaborate with Product, Security, Compliance and Core Platform to align priorities.
• Guide technical discussions on architecture and trade-offs.
• Improve software development through operational excellence.
• Hire, coach and grow a high-performing team.
