Job summary

PleoMessy is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Authentication and Authorization team and own the IAM strategy across SMB and Enterprise.

You will mentor 6–10 engineers, partner with Product, Security and Compliance, and drive a migration to a modern identity platform while keeping security and trust high.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on architectural challenges and shipping reliable software.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Engineering Manager with coaching and performance support.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of OAuth, SAML and OIDC in product environments.
• Experience guiding migrations between legacy and modern auth systems.
• Strong stakeholder management across engineering, product and risk partners.
• Bias for action with ability to lead through ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own the identity, authentication and authorisation strategy across SMB and Enterprise.
• Drive delivery for the Authentication & Authorization team ensuring secure, scalable systems.
• Roll out a new identity platform across Enterprise offerings.
• Define migration strategy between SMB legacy and Enterprise architectures.
• Mentor and grow a high-performing team with strong collaboration.
