Job summary

Rexel UK is seeking an Identity and Access Management Analyst on a 9-month fixed-term basis. You will manage user access, governance and compliance while supporting automation of IAM processes. The role is hybrid with 2 days at home and 3 days at head office in Birmingham, Mon-Fri, 8.30am-5pm.

You will work on Joiner, Mover, Leaver lifecycle, access reviews, and enterprise ticketing system requests, contributing to security and efficiency across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Previous IAM Analyst experience in a similar-sized organisation.
• Experience with enterprise ticketing systems and high-volume queues.
• Hands-on experience with Joiner, Mover and Leaver processes.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and security auditing basics.

Responsibilities

• Manage user access lifecycle and provisioning across joins, moves and leaves.
• Perform access reviews and governance in line with security policies.
• Handle IAM requests through the enterprise ticketing system within SLAs.
• Support compliance activities, audits and certification campaigns.
• Identify gaps and drive workflow automation and standardisation.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and SOPs.

In addition to these behaviours you will benefit from

• Previous experience as anIAM Analystwithin a similar-sized / matrix organisation
• Proven experience managing high-volume queues through an enterprise ticketing system
• Hands-on experience with Joiner, Mover and Leaver processes
• Experience supporting regular User Access Reviews
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, ideally with an ITIL Foundation qualification
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD / Entra ID, SSO and MFA
• Understanding of information security, audit requirements and least privilege
• Experience maintaining technical documentation, SOPs and knowledge articles
