Job summary

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced System Manager to lead its risk information management system, Ideagen Guardian. You will ensure the tool provides a clear, reliable view of organisational risk and safety, while supporting staff and stakeholders across the Trust.

The role focuses on configuring the system, driving full utilization, and delivering insightful reports to enable improvement and assurance at governance levels.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in information or system management.
• Proven experience collaborating with staff from diverse backgrounds on projects.
• Experience with risk information management systems (InPhase/Ideagen Guardian).
• Experience in an NHS operational environment and working with clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Support the Information System Lead for Ideagen in configuration and development.
• Drive full utilisation of system functionality across modules (incident reporting, risk registers, audits, policies).
• Ensure data quality, standardisation, and integrity with validation rules and taxonomy.
• Lead system change control, upgrades, and development with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Design and deliver reports and dashboards translating data into meaningful intelligence.
• Provide expert advice and training to staff across the Trust.
