Job summary

QA Apprenticeships is offering an ICT Technician Apprentice role at Forward House, Eynsham. The position provides hands-on training toward ICT Technician qualifications, including 1st line hardware/software support, asset management, and ICT administration under supervision.

Training is remote one day per week, with DBS disclosure required and lifting of IT equipment across buildings. 37.5 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:30; strong communication and IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 GCSEs (4+ in any subject) required.
• GCSE Maths and English (3+) required.
• Non-standard entry with work experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first line technical support and remote monitoring.
• Log, manage and resolve incidents with SLA compliance.
• Act as a point of contact between customers, internal teams and suppliers.
• Monitor support queues and manage asset and change control activities.
• Support project work and assist the Network Manager.
