Job summary

WTW in London is offering a paid internship within the Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) team. You will join 1,700 ICT colleagues across markets, contributing to software delivery projects and learning about risk modelling and analytics.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with modern tools, receive dedicated mentors, present your findings, and have the chance to progress to a graduate role. This program emphasizes collaboration, inclusion, and hands-on learning.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year at university in a technical, analytical or mathematical discipline with a2:1 on course.
• A* in Maths and A in two other subjects at A Level or equivalent.
• Awareness of a software development language (C#, C++, Java or Python) and web technologies (HTML/CSS or JavaScript).
• Familiar with basic principles of software development.
• Genuine interest in current and emerging technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a mathematical/analytical mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Eagerness to learn and apply new knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Experience collaborative and innovative engineering approaches.
• Contribute to a business-applicable project across software delivery technologies.
• Take on more responsibilities as you grow in areas such as performance benchmarking, testing, DevOps and security.
• Gain hands-on experience with Generative AI tools and techniques while evaluating outputs responsibly.
• Present work and findings to colleagues and mentors.
• Learn daily with support from mentors during the internship.
