Job summary

South Wales Police, Bridgend, is recruiting a Contract Management Specialist for ICT to ensure delivery of IT commercial services, procurement, and contract management. The role reports to the Business Services Manager and drives supplier relationships and performance against SLAs.

Applicants should have a degree or equivalent ICT/Business Management qualifications, proven ICT business management experience, and a solid grasp of Data Protection and FOI legislation.

Qualifications

• Must possess a relevant degree and/or hold ICT or Business Management qualifications.
• Proven experience in ICT business management processes within a similar sized organisation.
• Good understanding of Data Protection and Freedom of Information issues; up-to-date with legislation, policy and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality IT Commercial and Procurement services to internal customers.
• Coordinate Procurement, Contract and Supplier management processes.
• Lead commercial relationships with key suppliers to ensure best value from contracts.
