Job summary

Gold Education Recruitment is working with a welcoming secondary school in Chelmsford to recruit an ICT & Computing Teacher for a full-time role starting ASAP. The position runs initially until Christmas with a strong potential to extend, depending on school needs and performance.

You will plan and deliver engaging ICT and Computing lessons across the secondary age range, maintain high behaviour standards, and work closely with colleagues to support students’ practical and theoretical learning.

ICT & Computing Teacher – Chelmsford

Full Time | Immediate Start | Initially Until Christmas | Potential to Extend

Gold Education Recruitment is working with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Chelmsford, who are looking for an enthusiastic and committed ICT & Computing Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, starting ASAP.

The role will initially run until Christmas, with the possibility of continuing for the remainder of the academic year, depending on the school's requirements and the successful candidate.

The Role

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging ICT and Computing lessons across the secondary age range, helping students develop their knowledge, confidence and practical skills.

The successful candidate will join a supportive department and contribute to a positive learning environment. You will be expected to maintain high standards of behaviour, build positive relationships with students and work collaboratively with colleagues.

The school is looking for someone who can bring their subject knowledge to life and engage students with both the practical and theoretical aspects of Computing and ICT.

Who We Are Looking For

We are keen to hear from qualified ICT/Computing Teachers, ECTs and experienced graduates with strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for education.

You should have excellent classroom management skills, the ability to engage students of different abilities and a positive, professional approach.

Experience teaching Computing, ICT, Computer Science or related subjects would be beneficial.
