We are a multi-disciplinary Construction and Civil Engineering company, delivering an array of projects across Rail, Aviation, Building and Highways in the UK with technology being at the forefront of our organisation.

We are recruiting for an ICT Applications Apprentice to join our team. Reporting into our Head of Application Support, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom business applications using Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps. In this role, you’ll not only have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic world of IT and construction, but you’ll be working alongside our talented team to learn and develop your skills and experience.

As an apprentice, you will not only attain a qualification within Digital Product Management, but you’ll also join our apprenticeship development programme, which is designed to support your career progression and success.

We will support your technical development through a wide range of on-the-job practical experiences alongside classroom / online study with an apprenticeship training provider.

You’ll also:

  • Assist in designing, developing, and deploying Power Apps to improve business processes.
  • Create automated workflows with Power Automate for process optimisation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of existing Power Apps.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your technical skills and industry knowledge.
  • Contribute to the documentation of development processes and best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest features and updates in the Power Platform.
About you

What we are looking for…

Applicants will ideally have achieved 5 GCSEs A-Cs (reformed GCSEs grade 4 or above).

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual, meticulous with strong attention to detail, as well as collaborative with a real passion for ICT, ready to start their career in construction.

You’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be proactive, an innovator and a team worker.
