Job summary

ICC Wales in Newport is seeking a Cleaner to join our Cleaning team at this world-class convention centre, delivering high standards for guests across public, front-of-house and back-of-house areas. You will work 37.5 hours per week at £12.72 per hour, with full training provided.

A reliable, detail‑oriented approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a friendly team are essential. The Celtic Collection offers a welcoming, inclusive environment and progression

Qualifications

• Have a good command of English.
• Take pride in their work and have excellent attention to detail.
• Are reliable, positive and proactive.
• Can work independently as well as part of a team.
• Have previous cleaning experience, although this is not essential as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean all assigned areas in line with ICC Wales standards.
• Ensure public, front-of-house and back-of-house areas are kept clean, tidy and well maintained.
• Maintain the cleanliness of lifts, corridors, event spaces and communal areas.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to Shift Leaders.
• Support the wider team in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Complete related duties and special assignments as required.
