Job summary

Matchtech in Northampton is seeking a Business Process Automation Developer to design, develop and support IBM BAW workflows, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to deliver robust processes.

You will work in an Agile delivery environment, implement integrations with REST APIs and databases, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and production support.

The contract is initially 6 months, with a rate up to £700 per day Inside IR35 (Umbrella), onsite 2-3 days per week in Northampton.

Qualifications

• Hands-on development with IBM BAW.
• Strong Java development skills.
• Experience shaping REST API integrations.
• Proficient SQL and relational databases.
• Experience in Agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain IBM BAW workflows.
• Translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Develop integrations with enterprise systems and databases.
• Participate in design reviews and code quality initiatives.
• Support Agile delivery including estimation and sprints.
• Troubleshoot production issues and incidents.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities.
• Produce technical documentation.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects and testers.
