Job summary

eTeam in the United Kingdom seeks a WebMethods SME to join an agile integration delivery team for a mission-critical Azure-hosted platform. The role is hybrid, with one office day per week in London or Bristol.

You will develop REST/SOAP services, configure API gateways, and advise on integration patterns while collaborating with UX, QA and DevSecOps to ensure secure, scalable solutions. The contract runs until 31/03/2027, with IR35 considerations noted.

Qualifications

• Experience with webMethods product suite and designs.
• Experience with webMethods flow services 10.15+.
• Experience with Integration Server 10.15+.
• Experience with JMS messaging (Universal Messaging).
• Experience with API Gateway 10.15+.
• Experience with connectors and AWS S3 file transfer.
• Experience with SQL (Oracle/MSSQL/MySQL).
• Experience with Elastic/OpenSearch, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence/Teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop REST and SOAP services using Designer.
• Develop Universal Messaging packages using Designer.
• Configure and maintain API gateways using delivered services.
• Advise on integration patterns for best-practice decisions.
• Identify and resolve bugs in existing integration services.
• Ensure secure coding practices and platform security.
• Collaborate with UX, QA, and DevSecOps to deliver scalable integrations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications.
• Contribute to design reviews and documentation in Confluence.
