Job summary

The Valley Leadership Academy is seeking a dedicated individual to provide tailored support to our pupils, helping them succeed and thrive in learning. You will contribute to an outstanding learning environment through targeted interventions and collaborative planning with teaching staff.

The ideal candidate will have experience with SEMH difficulties, be a strong team player, and build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues to support holistic development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or A Level or equivalent.
• Experience of working with children in a secondary school or other setting.
• Experience of supporting students who have SEMH difficulties.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with students, parents and staff.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
