Job summary

Highfield Leadership Academy in Lancashire is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to our pupils, helping create an outstanding learning environment and enabling students to succeed.

The successful candidate will work with pupils one-to-one, in small groups and with whole classes, collaborating with colleagues to support teaching and learning and build positive relationships across the Star community.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
• Experience of working with children in a school setting.
• The ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
• The ability to work with pupils on a one to one, small groups and whole class.
• The ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to individual pupils to raise attainment.
• Support learning in one-to-one, small-group and whole-class settings.
