Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking an Operator on a permanent basis. This hands-on technical role offers variety, responsibility and the chance to make an impact in asset health, maintenance and contractor oversight on gas pressure reduction sites.

Bring proven electrical and instrumentation experience, familiarity with E&I standards, BS7671 and EAWR, plus NVQ level 3 and a valid UK driving license.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electrical / Instrumentation / GQ&M environment, including inspection and testing on gas pressure reduction sites.
• Familiarity with E&I standards, maintenance procedures, and relevant codes of practice.
• Understanding of BS7671, EAWR, and the Health and Safety at Work Act.
• NVQ level 3.

Responsibilities

• Assess and report on the condition of E&I equipment and systems.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure system reliability.
• Supervise third-party work to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Ensure work is delivered in a timely, compliant manner.

Operator Permanent £44k - £52k plus £3500 shift allowance , 5 % bonus and car

• Maintenance & Repairs – Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure system reliability.
• Timely Delivery – Complete work efficiently and in line with statutory requirements..
• Contractor Oversight – Supervise third-party work to ensure safety and quality standards.

What you'll bring:

You're a skilled technician with a strong background in electrical and instrumentation systems or a skilled electrician wanting to progress and develop further skills in instrumentation systems. You also have a commitment to safety and quality.

• Experience – Proven experience in an Electrical / Instrumentation / GQ&M environment, including inspection and testing of systems on gas pressure reduction sites.
• Technical Knowledge – Familiarity with E&I technical standards, maintenance procedures, and relevant codes of practice.
• Legislation Awareness – Understanding of BS7671, EAWR, and the Health and Safety at Work Act.
• Qualifications –
