Job summary

Blueprint Recruitment Solutions is seeking an E&I Technician in Bishop Auckland to support testing projects and calibration activities for gas infrastructure. This hands-on role works closely with engineers and technicians to ensure safe operations and reliable instrumentation data.

The successful candidate will have electrical qualifications, hands-on maintenance experience, and a strong commitment to health and safety in a safety-critical energy environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical (City & Guilds) is a must
• Must have 18th Edition wiring regulations
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification is required
• Experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and hazardous areas
• Strong health & safety awareness plus good organisation, teamwork and adaptability

Responsibilities

• Provide E&I support for testing projects and instrumentation setup
• Ensure equipment meets industry standards and delivers accurate results
• Record, validate, and manage data and maintenance records
• Support electrical maintenance and general operations
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety activities
