Synergi Recruitment represents a global bakery client seeking a Hygiene Supervisor to lead a hygiene team in a food manufacturing environment. The role focuses on maintaining exceptional hygiene standards, supporting the Hygiene Manager and driving site-wide continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in regulated food settings, strong knowledge of GMP/HACCP/COSHH, and proven ability to support external audits while maintaining compliant records and performance

Formación

• Experience as Hygiene Supervisor or similar in food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, COSHH and food safety legislation.
• Experience supporting external audits and maintaining compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication and team management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, supervise and develop the hygiene team with coaching and performance reviews.
• Coordinate cleaning activities and maintain hygiene standards across the site.
• Conduct hygiene inspections and internal audits with corrective actions.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with BRC, HACCP, GMP and COSHH.
• Maintain hygiene records and KPI reporting for continuous improvement.
• Work with Production, Engineering and Technical teams to resolve issues.
• Assist with planning, labour allocation and pest control activities.
• Deputise for the Hygiene Manager when required.
• Ensure health and safety compliance in all hygiene activities.
