Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is seeking a dedicated Hygiene operative to help ensure production areas, equipment and lines are cleaned to the highest standards. You will perform CIP processes, maintain hygiene across production lines and support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, hygiene, cleaning, or production environments.
• Strong focus on health, safety, quality and hygiene standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
• Interest in identifying improvements and supporting operational excellence initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively within a food production environment.
• Carry out Cleaning-In-Place (CIP) processes to maintain hygiene standards across production lines.
• Ensure all cleaning activities meet site standards, procedures and food safety requirements.
• Support 5S and workplace organisation initiatives.
• Complete quality and hygiene inspections to ensure regulatory and company standards compliance.
• Replenish cleaning chemicals, consumables and hygiene materials as required.
• Conduct basic equipment checks and report defects or maintenance concerns.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
